The Mook XC Invite

Join us Saturday, September 19, 2026, for The Mook XC Invite at The Mook at Alderbrook in Tillamook, Oregon.

 

Watch outstanding high school and middle school runners compete on a championship-style, all-grass cross country course featuring fast fairways, rolling hills and spectacular Oregon Coast scenery. The course is exceptionally spectator-friendly—with a little planning and quick moving, you can watch nearly the entire race.

Your ticket provides spectator admission for the entire day. Please have your ticket ready to be scanned when you arrive.

 

EVENT SCHEDULE

Racing begins at 8:30 AM with the Open 5K and continues throughout the day with middle school, Silver, Gold and Elite division races. The final Open 5K begins at 5:00 PM. See schedule here.

 

RUN THE MOOK OPEN 5K!

Don’t just watch the action—race on the same world-class, all-grass cross country course as some of the West’s top high school runners! The Mook Open 5K is open to runners of all ages and abilities, with two convenient starting times at 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Results from both races will be combined. Experience fast fairways, rolling hills and an unforgettable championship-style course on the beautiful Oregon Coast. Advance registration is encouraged. Click here to register.

 

PARKING AND ENTRANCE

All spectator vehicles must park in the designated field across from the east end of the golf course. All spectators must enter through the designated spectator entrance on the east side of the property near the parking area.

 

Please do not park in neighboring yards, driveways or along surrounding roadways. There will be no spectator admission through any other entrance.

 

WHAT TO KNOW

• The event is dog-friendly. Please keep dogs under control and clean up after them.
• Breakfast, lunch, snacks, coffee and cold drinks will be available for purchase.
• Golf carts will be available to rent for $30 near the spectator entrance, subject to availability.
• Course and spectator maps will be available online. Printed maps will not be provided.  See 5k map here.  See 3k map here.
• Please stay off all golf-course greens.

 

MINI MOOK MINIATURE GOLF

The Mini Mook, our one-of-a-kind 18-hole natural-grass miniature golf course, will be open during the event! Families and spectators are invited to enjoy a round between races. The course features rolling greens, creative obstacles, beautiful landscaping and a large central waterfall. Pricing is $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and $12 for children ages 14 and younger. Mini Mook admission is not included with your Mook XC Invite spectator ticket and must be purchased separately.
